1987 → The foundation of StratejiCo. was laid with the establishment of the Strategic Research and Planning Company by Selim Oktar.
1994 → The company formed a partnership with UK-based leading global research firm MORI (Market and Opinion Research International), leading to the launch of Strateji | Mori, one of Europe’s leading research firms.
2000 → Strateji | Mori was named “Most Reputable Company” in its field by Istanbul University’s Faculty of Communication.
2000 → Global research leader GfK, the world’s fourth largest market research company at the time, acquired the company’s market research operations. The company was restructured and rebranded as Strateji.
2005 → Expanding beyond research and consultancy, the company added international strategic communications and relationship management services—marking the birth of StratejiCo.
2008 → StratejiCo. opened offices in Baku and Almaty, beginning operations in the Azerbaijani and Kazakh markets.
2011 → StratejiCo. broadened its communication services, specializing in union relations, employee engagement, and community relations, while also publishing analytical reports to support strategic decision-making.
2015 → StratejiCo. partnered with prestigious Dutch firm Dröge & van Drimmelen, which offers public and corporate affairs services. The newly opened office in The Hague began serving clients in the Netherlands.
2017 → StratejiCo. began supporting organizations in cultural transformation and structural change. With its Purpose Mapping™ Model
StratejiCo. became the only consultancy able to offer customized, holistic solutions through the lens of strategy, structure, and culture.
The company also expanded its reputation management services, deepening its expertise in social media monitoring and insight-driven reporting.
2018 → StratejiCo. expanded its social media team and services, offering consultancy, execution, and operational management in marketing and marketing communications. It launched Agile Marketing
services, becoming one of the first companies in Turkey to both offer and manage its own internal operations through Agile methods.
2020 → The COVID-19 Research Series,
conducted in collaboration with ERA, received the Silver Owl in the “Social Owl” category at the Baykuş Awards, organized by the Turkish Researchers’ Association (TÜAD).
2021 → StratejiCo. further deepened its data- and insight-driven social media services, filling a market gap in insight reporting. That same year, one of Turkey’s largest retail brands—whose social media was managed by StratejiCo. —was ranked the 2nd most admired retail brand globally by Social Bakers.
“StratejiCo.’s Agile Intelligence Model, which integrates social media data, field data, and qualitative insights from focus groups, won Silver Awards in both “Insightful Owl” and “Reputable Owl”categories at the Baykuş Awards.
2022 → A large-scale Employee Experience Study, conducted in partnership with ERA and involving over 45,000 participants, earned the
Silver Award in the “Contented Owl” category at the Baykuş Awards. In response to growing demand and a rising digital presence, StratejiCo. launched its Agile social media brand Social First., expanding its digital footprint.
2024 → StratejiCo. developed the “Purpose-Driven Collective Intelligence Model” —a comprehensive framework that helps organizations build healthy stakeholder relationships, operate authentically, and create end-to-end value based on their unique corporate identity.
StratejiCo. also introduced its Sustainability Communication Model reinforcing its commitment to purposeful consultancy. Alongside these new services, the company unveiled a refreshed brand identity—continuing to listen, understand, co-create, and deliver value for its clients.
